The terms that apply when you book a trip with Clerisa Safari Limited.

Making a booking

An enquiry is not a booking. A booking exists once you have accepted a written quotation from us and we have received your deposit and confirmed it in writing.

Deposits and payment

Deposits are 10% for camping safaris and 30% for lodging safaris. Luxury and tailor-made journeys may require more, and we tell you the amount before you commit to anything. The balance and payment methods are set out on your invoice.

Changes and cancellation

Talk to us as early as you can if plans change and we will tell you honestly what is possible. Lodges, camps, park authorities and airlines each have their own conditions, which we set out in writing with your quotation.

What is included

Every quotation states exactly what it includes and excludes. If something is not listed, it is not included. Ask us rather than assume.

Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly advisable for safari and essential for Kilimanjaro, and should cover medical evacuation.

Wildlife and weather

We never guarantee sightings. Wildlife is wild and weather is weather. We plan to give you the best chance and we tell you honestly what is likely.

Our liability

We arrange services with care and use suppliers we know. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it. These terms are governed by the law of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Complaints

Tell your guide or call our office while you are still travelling, so we have a chance to put things right. If something is still unresolved afterwards, email karibu@clerisasafari.com.
